COMPANY PROFILE
Owl Mills, Inc is a family owned company that has acquired Friedman & Distillator,
Inc also known as Owl Mills, in February 2007. The company was originally
founded in 1923. For many years, we supplied ribbons, trims and fabrics
to the ladies millinery industry. It has since evolved into selling other
specialty trades, such as the custom lampshade and picture frame trades,
as well as to many costume designers in operas, ballet and theatre productions.
Chayim C. Kramer now owns the company.
Our collection of the finest quality silks, linens, lining fabrics,
as well as imported braids are the most comprehensive that you will find
anywhere. We are constantly expanding to keep pace with the changing
decorative trends.
Our fabrics consist of silks in shantungs, pongees, linen from China,
Belgium, Czechoslovakia, Poland, and Ireland, and linings from Japan.
Our popular imported braids are from France and Germany. |
